Phosphor Motor Co. is a reference site, built by Mini Truck Co. to show what a mini truck dealer’s site can be. It is not a business. Nothing here is for sale, and no order, bid or payment is taken.

Tools + cargo

A tiny footprint. A useful box.

A covered mini-truck body could become a very useful rolling tool room. Start with what needs to stay dry, secure and accessible, then work backward to the vehicle.

Build around what goes inside

Measure the longest tool, tallest case and access needed from each side. An enclosed body is a packaging problem as much as a styling decision.

Not every box is the same

Shelving, locks, ventilation, electrical additions and mounting points all need a defined specification. An ordinary cargo box is not refrigeration, a food-safe kitchen or a certified hazardous-material enclosure.

Leave room for the numbers

Include the body and every accessory in the loaded weight calculation. Confirm vehicle limits and tie-down requirements before committing to a layout.

Bring these questions.

  • What must stay dry or locked?
  • How heavy is the complete loaded body?
  • Is power or special ventilation needed?
