A better bid starts
before the auction.
A clear brief, an identified vehicle and a written ceiling. The right details stay visible from the search through the handover.
Find the right configuration.
Filter body, reported engine, gearbox, drivetrain and source region. Unknown data stays unknown. The 660 cc filter requires a known positive displacement no greater than 660 cc; it does not prove every other kei classification requirement.

NHTSA measures the 25-year period from the vehicle's manufacture date, not a fixed calendar-year cutoff. An age result here is only a date screen. Evidence, EPA requirements, customs and state registration remain separate.
EPA's older-vehicle guidance also addresses the engine's equivalence to the original model and configuration. A replacement or modified engine needs specific review. Newer engine programmes require exact documentary coverage, not just KF or R06A in a dropdown.

A maximum auction bid is the ceiling for the auction hammer price. Auction/broker charges, Phosphor's disclosed service fee and transport are separate lines. No hidden uplift, automatic outbid rule or fee is inserted into your ceiling.
Any future live action requires a specific lot, accepted terms, authorized operator, fresh availability, valid increments and an explicit approval. The local request download does none of those things.
A partial estimate is not a landed quote.
The planning calculator uses the exchange rate and amounts you enter. It does not fetch rates or prices. Tax, duties, destination/port costs, insurance, inspection, currency charges and unquoted work still need itemized confirmation.
Keep the record with the truck.
A reviewed purchase path should retain the original source identity, auction/inspection evidence, approved ceiling, actual fees, payment confirmation, export records and custody through delivery.
